The brand new floating platform situated in Royal Victoria Dock is more adventurous than a first glance might suggest. Before becoming a 4-star hotel, it served its purpose as a penitentiary institution. After a fabulous renovation in its hometown Amsterdam, the hotel has travelled all the way over the channel to find its new home in the trendy East London. The design is often described as pure industrial, and offers a funky mix of modern minimalism and Dutch/Nordic cosiness. The lobby and restaurant area of the hotel is called The Living Room and it already has become a new communal hot-spot. Travellers, artist, businesspeople and students can all be found under one roof mingling and networking at The Living Room. Also on The Roof there is a lively vibe to be found since Good Hotel London recently opened its brand-new rooftop terrace (available according to weather permitting!). This hidden gem offers stunning views over the Royal Victoria Dock in an almost Mediterranean setting. The Hotel offers a mixture of elegant standard and water view rooms and up to five white-canvas meeting spaces can be found on the ground floor.
